Established teamLab while attending the University of Tokyo and became CTO. After that, he served as CTO of Pixiv, and founded the robotics venture “Yukai Engineering.” With the vision of “Robotics for Fun Living,” they work on a number of household robot products. Since 2015, Aoki has been a member of the Good Design Award Jury. He became a professor at Musashino Art University in 2021.
