Michael's journey to empowering students began while serving in the Peace Corps where he worked with the local government and NGOs to increase business opportunities and education. A lot of his work focused on youth empowerment which proved to be immensely rewarding. After Peace Corps, Michael returned to the private sector before a desire to get back into youth empowerment on a global scale brought him to Hult Prize. Michael is currently the Associate Director where he is responsible for leading a team of regional managers across their seven regions.
