Lorenzo Gazmuri is a Civil Electrical Engineer from the University of Chile and began his career at Phillips International. After that, he joined Copec, Chile-based holding company engaged, through its subsidiaries, in the energy and natural resources sectors, being one of the largest Chilean energy and forestry company with gas stations throughout Chile.  Lorenzo held several positions in COPEC: in 2009 he was appointed CEO and then COPEC's Executive Vice President in 2017. Since 2020, he is the President of ICARE, a private non-profit organization, founded by influential businessmen and professionals linked to various sectors to promote business excellence in the country. Lorenzo es member of the board of directors of several companies.
