Kok Hwee is a director of ZIG Ventures, an investor of early stage medical device  companies.

He represents ZIG Ventures as its representative on the board of its portfolio companies. He also assumes the CEO position in Biobot Surgical, a surgical robotics company and subsidiary of ZIG Ventures.

Prior to the de-merger of ZIG and Zicom, Kok Hwee was the Executive Director of Zicom Group, a diversified engineering organization with manufacturing facilities located in Asia. As the Executive Director, he was responsible for the group’s corporate development.

Kok Hwee has a Masters of Science Degree in Financial Engineering from Columbia University, New York, USA and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Operations Research from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA (Magna Cum Laude).
