Jon Vardner completed his Ph.D. in chemical engineering at Columbia University where he was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. He developed and co-invented technologies that enable the sustainable production of copper. He continued his postdoctoral studies at Columbia to realize the potential of his process. Now, he is the founder of Still Bright to bring his technology to market and provide vast amounts of copper for the global transition to renewables.
