Eric Sargent is a social entrepreneur and circular economy professional based in Greater Boston. He is the Partnerships Manager at ChopValue Boston, a start-up franchise that collects chopsticks from local restaurants and upcycles them into furniture and consumer products. He is also the founder of the Boston chapter of the Circular Economy Club, the networking arm of the Circular Economy Institute, where he coordinates events that catalyze new relationships and connections in the field. Working in the impact sector for the last decade, he has helped develop sustainable operational systems, double non-profit organizations, and start new businesses and initiatives. Eric received a B.A. in environmental studies from Goucher College and holds two certificates in the Circular Economy from Cambridge University and the Circular Economy Institute.
