Dr. Daisuke Tanaka, over 20 years of clinical experience as a special GP, General Practitioner dentist, DDS. After he completed a law school to acquire medical law and IP law, JD, he enrolled in the Ph.D. course of the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering advanced interdisciplinary study to be involved in the development of microdevices. In the first year, he was working as a special researcher of a startup from the University of Tokyo, to develop world-first robotics system for cell sample preparation. Subsequently, he received a scholarship from Erasmus Mundus from UPMC, EU and worked on a MEMS chip fabrication of microdevices at Italy’s highest research institute, FBK and University of Trento, Italy.
Based on these experiences, he was chosen as a representative of the University of Tokyo for the SETI Program at C-CAMP, Bangalore India and a representative of the University of Tokyo for the China-Japan Student Exchange program, Materials Engineering, Dalian University of Technology. He also completed the Healthcare Technological Innovation: From Idea to Commercialization Executive Program at Tel Aviv University, Israel. After return to Japan, He established Any-Edge, an R&D team for a “Centralized the patients’ health platform” against the dental & engineering background. During his work, he qualified to participate in Code in Place 2021-2023 at Stanford University CS 106A to enhance his coding Python skills.
