As a dual-career professional, I get inspired by creators and innovators across all disciplines. I believe our work and personal lives are greatly enhanced by connecting as humans with others who may be doing equally innovative work …but in a different area of practice. I started the Boston Media, Arts & Ideas Mixer in 2018 as a way to foster exactly these kinds of connections: bringing together creative professionals in the business of making things (or making things happen) for an evening of cross-disciplinary networking across the arts & entertainment, media, tech, and higher ed sectors. As for my own background — in the tech realm, I’m a mission-driven software and systems creator. I like complex challenges and progressive organizations.
