Aya Rowe is a Japanese entrepreneur with a background in Biology and Psychology from Kalamazoo College and early research experience at Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. Shortly thereafter, Aya established her first company, Boston Japanese Trainers, focused on overcoming the challenges of cross-cultural communication and business between Japan and the US.  BJT offers corporate clients language and cultural training to enhance U.S.-Japan business relations, as well as services to school-age children of Japanse expats living in the US.  While continuing to run BJT, in 2023, Aya launched her second company, Aya's Culture Kitchen to explore her long-time personal interest in fermented foods.  ACK delivers fresh natto and miso, made from organic, American soybeans.  The business recently received its wholesale license and is quickly building a nationwide distribution network.  Aya's commitment to fostering global understanding and her dynamic approach to entrepreneurship drive her continual pursuit of new opportunities, aiming to strengthen ties between the U.S. and Japan.
