Teatro Chelsea celebrates Latiné cultures, showcases and fosters local talent, builds community in Chelsea through arts engagement and collaboration, and is establishing a hub for Latiné artists in the Boston metropolitan area. Teatro Chelsea creates theatre at the crossroads of languages, cultures, and histories that make up the Latiné experience, and seeks to amplify and honor the voices that speak to these unique experiences. Teatro Chelsea welcomes all and brings together people with different talents and passions. Love to sew? You can make costumes. Love to write music? You can create a sound design. You don’t need theatre experience and the time commitment is individual. Adults, youth, groups of friends, and businesses can all be involved. What’s your talent? What do you have to lend? Teatro Chelsea would love to have you!   More about Armando: Armando (he/him) is a Boston based director, actor, historian, and serves as Artistic Director of Teatro Chelsea, a bilingual Latiné theatre company in Chelsea, MA. His current focus lies in uplifting new Latiné narratives that highlight the bilingual experience and resonate with diverse communities. Select directing credits include: Revitalized, El Camino de Cuentos Oscuros, Sonia se Fue (Teatro Chelsea). Latin American Folktales, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Apollinaire Play Lab). Biloxi Blues, The Dumb Waiter (FGCU TheatreLab). www.TeatroChelsea.com
