Youth CITIES - Mini-Hack

In-person session

December 14, 2017 | 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM
ABOUT THE SESSION

What is the role of education in society, and what is the role of community in education? Education has great social importance and is relevant to everyone, regardless if you have kids in the school system or not. But what is the best way for all the stakeholders – whether it’s students, teachers, local companies, or residents – to communicate and engage, so that we as a society can produce great thinkers and really improve the world. Come hear some of the challenges from a local public school, and join an intimate facilitated “brain hack” by Youth CITIES.

Monthly Youth CITIES Mini-Hacks aim to build solutions to local community issues. Each session addresses one topic by employing a range of decision making and problem solving styles. After a collaborative discussion, each participant will share an elevator pitch version of what is believed to be the best solution. Mini-Hacks are open to middle or high school teens, college students, entrepreneurs, educators, and other professionals.

Join this month’s Mini-Hack at Venture Café. Please RSVP here.
