We are launching “Virtual Venture Café”. Virtual Venture Cafés will allow us to continue to share the great content produced by the Foundation while we monitor the evolving guidance on COVID-19. Our virtual Connect conference will be broadcasted during our standard Thursday timeframe. Please sign up for our newsletter and check our Event Calendar page for our changing schedule. Follow us on Facebook page and Youtube Channel to be notified when we go live.

Business is personal. It’s built on relationships, whether with customers, co-founders, employees, managers, investors, or board members. Everyone can learn to build better relationships using a skill that fuels connection: empathy.

Empathy is the ability to experience and understand what others feel, even when you don’t agree with them. And because empathy is a skill, we can strengthen it with practice. As neuroscience tells us, “What we practice grows stronger.” In this interactive session, you will be able to:

  • Learn the neuroscience of empathy and what gets in the way
  • Practice two mental habits for building empathy with anyone
  • Leave with tools to help make tough decisions that build trust
