ABOUT THE SESSION

SPRING 2019 WORKSHOP SERIES

Venture Café’s LAUNCH! Entrepreneur Workshop Series is a new educational program designed to introduce early-stage and aspiring entrepreneurs to key topics and principles to help build, launch, and scale successful businesses. The 8-week series will survey a host of topics from ideation to launch. Each workshop will be taught by successful entrepreneurs and subject-matter experts experienced in building, launching and scaling ventures.

This new workshop-style format is designed to have participants leave with practical knowledge that can be immediately applied to their ventures.

Prerequisites:

  • Come with at least one idea that you could think through during the workshop.
  • While this series is open to any entrepreneur or aspiring entrepreneur, the contents of the workshops are geared toward tech-enabled business.
  • Registration is required. Please register for the entire 8-week series or register for each topic by visiting the individual workshop event pages on Eventbrite.

 


Workshop 1: Ideation, Validation & Business Model Design (March 14)

(PLEASE NOTE THE LOCATION CHANGE: 101 Main Street – 14th Floor is the new location)

This workshop will explore the fundamentals of evaluating an idea to determine if you can build a viable business from the problem you are trying to solve. You will be introduced to several tools to help you “get out of your head” and build a product or service that customers will pay for.

Instructor: Le Zhang

Le Zhang is the founder and CEO of Squadle, an IoT platform company that helps automate multi-unit restaurant operations for the likes of Sonic Drive-In and Chick-fil-A.
