Switzerland has ranked among the top innovating countries in the world thanks to an ecosystem led by elite higher education and technology-driven approaches. Come witness some of the latest advances from one of the major Swiss innovators in the field of digital health, the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM). The session will feature lightning talks from CSEM representatives and some of their spin-off companies, featuring biospectal (optical blood pressure monitoring through ubiquitously connected devices) and MyStetho (connected stethoscope for telemedicine).

CSEM (Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology) is a non-profit Research & Development organization which focuses on transferring technologies from basic research to industry. Founded in 1984 to support the Swiss watch industry, CSEM has evolved into a multidisciplinary innovation center with 450 experts working on several international projects. This catalyst for technology maturation is currently one of the strongest innovators in the fields of digital health, medtech, and wearables and has helped several entrepreneurs bring their connected health projects to life by providing them with the right know-how and expertise.
