ABOUT THE SESSION

More than ever, coordinated international efforts have the potential to develop technologies that tackle global health issues. In recent years, Japanese health officials have outlined their strategies to promote international cooperation, including around the regulation of medical devices. However, barriers still exist, which may delay regulatory approvals and adoption in both countries and slow the spread of life-saving technology. Join us for a conversation where we explore how medical device companies can develop new technology that serves populations around the world and overcomes differences in healthcare systems and cultures of care between the US and Japan.
