Aidan Petrie is a founding Partner of NEMIC (New England Medical Innovation Center), New England’s Med Tech venture studio and a Fellow of the Provost at RISD, focused on intersections between user centered design and healthcare. He is a member of Cherrystone Angels and a mentor and adviser to many startups. Aidan’s passion for innovation and design has helped bring hundreds of products to market that range from simple drug compliance aids to wearable therapeutics, home monitoring products and complex surgical systems.
Brian Clancy is the Global Co-Lead for AppScript® by IQVIA™, a tool used by clinicians in the US and UK to find and prescribe high quality digital health apps for their patients without leaving their preferred Electronic Health Record workflows. AppScript’s brand promise is to enable clinicians to easily prescribe the right app to the right patient at the right time in under 20 seconds. Brian is an author of various academic and industry publications on digital health and precision medicine, including the report by the IQVIA Institute for Human Data Science entitled “The Growing Value of Digital Health.” His research and products have been featured in The Economist, The Lancet, The New York Times, Tech Crunch, mobihealthnews and Eric Topol’s Twitter feed. Brian holds Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Molecular Genetics and Economics from the University of Rochester and a Certificate in Product Management from General Assembly NYC.
Joe Gordon is Vice President of Innovation for Ximedica, where he drives innovation in their core markets of healthcare delivery solutions, medical device development, and consumer healthcare.
With a passion for applying a human-centered approach to system and device development, Joe has committed himself to advising and leading expert teams of researchers, engineers and designers in collaboration with a global client base to co-create, implement, and measure solutions that form the leading edge of the industry. Joe has honed his expertise throughout his 20+ career in a wide range of specialized fields including arthroscopic, audiology, endoscopy, gynecology, orthopedic, urology, ophthalmic, and robotics.
