Venturer is for people who want deeper participation in the innovation ecosystem. This includes founders and operators, students and researchers, investors and ecosystem builders, creatives and community leaders, and anyone who wants stronger access, visibility, and belonging within a connected innovation community.

No. Thursday Gatherings will always remain free and open to everyone. We believe innovation thrives when access is open, and freely accessible Thursday Gatherings are a core part of how we activate the ecosystem every week. Becoming a Venturer is not about entry to the space. It is about supporting and strengthening the ecosystem that makes these gatherings possible, while receiving deeper access, priority experiences, and recognition within the community.

General attendees participate in Thursday Gatherings and community programming freely. Venturers go one step further by helping sustain the ecosystem financially, receiving priority access and curated experiences, and being recognized as active contributors to the community infrastructure. It is the difference between participating in the ecosystem and helping make it possible.

Venturer is not about access to events, it’s about sustaining and improving the ecosystem that makes those events possible, while unlocking priority access and deeper connection. By becoming a Venturer, you help ensure that Venture Café can continue to offer free and open programming every week, while also receiving priority access, curated experiences, and a deeper connection within the community.

Venture Café Cambridge is part of Venture Café Global Institute (VCGI), a public benefit corporation that reinvests all income into its mission of connecting innovators and strengthening local ecosystems. Each Venture Café is supported through a mix of sponsorships from innovation ecosystem partners, grants and institutional funding, and partnerships with universities, organizations, and innovation districts. The Venturer Program adds a community-driven layer of recurring support that helps ensure long-term sustainability and growth of the ecosystem.

Your Venturer support directly contributed to strengthening the ecosystem that makes Venture Café possible. This includes improving event programming quality, supporting community coordination, enabling curated experiences, maintaining ecosystem activation infrastructure, and ensuring that Thursday Gatherings remain free and open to everyone.

Venturer Supporters receive ongoing access and recognition within the ecosystem. This includes priority access to selected events, early registration windows, access to curated community experiences, recognition as a supporter of the ecosystem, updates and community insights, and optional inclusion in supporter visibility features.

Yes. Venturer supporters can adjust or cancel their recurrent support at any time.

If you change your mind after purchasing, please reach out via the Venturer Support form on this page within three days. We’ll review each request individually and follow up to understand the situation.
