According to HR.com, 78% of participants surveyed cite that smart technologies will most significantly change the workplace by 2030. Although automation will play a role in the future workforce, the future will hinge more on experts who not only can wield smart technologies but effectively lead remote workplace. With the future of work evolving so rapidly at scale towards a digital workplace, effective leaders must learn how to manage diverse teams located across different cities and time zones.

In this session, we will discuss: – Ways to identify key trends in the future of digital work and effective tactics to lead from a distance – Explore the challenges with remote communication and learn how teams can collaborate productively with virtual communication tools. – Discuss strategies to foster an inclusive virtual culture that highlights the diverse talents of remote employees and empowers remote teams. – Key steps you can take to immediately begin to create, manage, and strengthen a diverse, inclusive virtual culture

About the presenter:

Christie Lindor is a Principal Consultant & CEO of Tessi Consulting, a management & HR consulting firm focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, talent strategy, and digital workforce transformation.  Prior to Tessi, Christie was a seasoned management consultant advising Fortune 500 clients at some of the world’s top consulting firms such as IBM, Deloitte, & EY.

In the span of her 20 years in corporate consulting, Christie has partnered with 100s of organizations within 23 industries/sectors in 10 countries across 4 continents at the intersection of IT, strategy, M&A, business operations, and human capital. A TEDx and keynote speaker, podcaster, & avid writer on workforce related topics, her work has been featured in publications such as Forbes, Fast Company, and Time Magazine. Christie currently sits on the Board of The Women’s Lunch Place, women’s homeless shelter in Boston. Christie has a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College and a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Computer Science from Bentley University.

She is a bestselling, award-winning author of The MECE Muse: 100+ selected practices, unwritten rules, and habits of great consultants, and is currently writing her third non-fiction book.
