WorkAround is an online platform that connects companies with displaced workers who deliver online microwork such as image tagging and data entry for machine learning.
While pursuing her master’s degree in international development and conflict resolution, and as part of her master’s thesis, Wafaa wanted to find a sustainable solution for the refugee crisis. She started looking into ways that we can empower refugees to do work remotely since they have access to the internet and are educated and talented.
